I am currently on Tysabri and it is helping but not as much. I was on Avonex, Betaseron, and Copaxone before but and they were not effective. Do you know if they are still accepting candidates for the trial?Francescohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03053248661866236142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4889592646404303255.post-77842862548075181262008-12-21T18:32:00.000-05:002008-12-21T18:32:00.000-05:00damn, they did not mention me either! well, neverm...damn, they did not mention me either! well, nevermind.

i don't really get the whole numbers either, but there are a few numbers i like: i was diagnosed in spring 2007 and started my trial in august 2007. i had 4 relapses until july 2008 and strong reactions to the weekly shot in my phase I (looks like i got avonex in my first year). i started phase II in august 2008 and my ms hasn't changed eversince.

i love that. relapse-free for half a year now, compared to a relapse every 3-4 months before that.

i soooooo hope that every ms-patient can benefit from this cool drug very very soon.tschoerdahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05246295881069036626noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4889592646404303255.post-78855952051711572792008-12-12T13:14:00.000-05:002008-12-12T13:14:00.000-05:00Let me clarify with the numbers. But for somebody with a bottle of Fingolimod there will be only have a relapse left :)
I recently met a guy I used to be friends with in high school, and I was very sad to learn that he has MS. I've been looking through info about MS on the Internet for him, and I must say that Fingolimod seems like a great drug. I hope it will get FDA approval fast, so that people can get to use it ASAP.BiophysPhdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09846965584275313411noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4889592646404303255.post-30604927710376044112008-12-12T12:55:00.000-05:002008-12-12T12:55:00.000-05:00"If a train carrying three relapses..."ROTFL"If a train carrying three relapses..."

ROTFLSuldoghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07778845367184916684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4889592646404303255.post-17228339820289337912008-12-12T11:19:00.000-05:002008-12-12T11:19:00.000-05:00Thanks for being a lab-rat!
